About
Paul Morris is an art director in New York. Since 1997 he has worked on magazine mastheads and inside agencies — Condé Nast, Wenner Media, American Express Publishing, Hachette Filipacchi and Grey — and for fifteen years has run his own studio.
The through-line is that one person carries the whole job. He has been the creative director of a magazine with a four-person art department, the art director on a global Olympic campaign, and the senior designer building the actual pages. On MetroPlusHealth, a single credit line covers a live website, campaign print and three broadcast spots.
Editorial systems, campaign identity and production, print and digital. BFA Communication Design, Parsons School of Design, 1997.

What collaborators say
“Paul brought an amazing level of graphic design to our brand when we needed it most. He also conceived of an iconic arresting and exquisite vision for our Olympics project, our most high-profile work to date.”
Thomas Puckett
EVP Creative Director, Grey Worldwide North America
“As soon as I saw Paul's design work I knew I wanted him to work on my team. His work was sophisticated, yet communicated a cleverly mass appeal as well. His designs are articulate and emotional — pleasing clients and sales people alike.”
Gary Armstrong
Chief Marketing Officer, Rolling Stone · Us Weekly · Men's Journal
“I was always impressed with his considerable skills as a graphic designer and his desire to push the creative bounds to great effect. In spite of weekly — sometimes daily — deadlines, Paul brought his best stuff to the in-book projects we worked on.”
Angela Gaudioso
Director & Editor, Special Sections, The New Yorker
“Paul was confident and professional with his directions and gave examples of the style and composition the magazine was looking to have featured. This gave me the perfect path to execute the images needed to complete each project.”
