Pantene Advertorial for Vogue
Condé Nast · Vogue · promotion design: two Pantene advertorial spreads — layouts, with placeholder body copy in place
Creative Director: Paul Morris
Pantene wanted advertorial that could sit in Vogue without reading as a product ad — a beauty-page voice attached to a celebrity and a named stylist rather than to a claim.

What I made
Two spreads. "Best Tressed" gives the whole left page to a reportage frame of Zooey Deschanel being styled, her quotation reversed into the shadow in a hairline script; the right page runs a five-step routine as numbered product call-outs and closes on a red-carpet frame and a sweepstakes. "Expert Secrets" inverts it — black ground, a gold Didone headline at page width, one beauty portrait, and three named hair conditions set as columns around a product still and a pulled stylist quotation.

Taking projects from October. Editorial, campaign and digital art direction.
