Work
15 projects, each with the client, the year and my role stated — editorial, campaign and digital art direction from George in 1998 to MetroPlusHealth now.

Maui Nō Ka ʻOi Magazine
Five consecutive issues, September–October 2019 to May–June 2020, art-directed throughout. Three covers, three different architectures.

Pantene — Grey New York
Two bodies of work. The North American print is testimonial — a quoted headline in the talent's own voice, the PANTENE PRO-V logotype set vertically up the left edge, product bank bottom right — one unit signed by Naomi Watts, one by Eva Mendes.

MetroPlusHealth — MSA MarketingCurrent
Eleven pieces across four channels.

George
Features, front-of-book and back-of-book pages, plus logos and marks for the magazine.

Departures — American Express Publishing
A 52-page Brooks Brothers onsert for September 2009, conceived and designed: a typographic cover setting "Makers and Merchants / Made in America" at page scale in grey on charcoal, spreads of suits on dress forms, a drop initial run to half-page height against a black-and-white portrait, a tweed-and-label detail, and a contents page built from tinted numerals.

The New Yorker — Condé Nast
Promotion design, weekly. A trade ad built as a 35mm contact sheet — nine portraits, sprocket edges, frame numbers — with the message circled in red grease pencil.

Rolling Stone & Men's Journal — Wenner Media
Nine units across two titles. For Rolling Stone, a BP and MTV cross-promotion — "ON ASSIGNMENT", six aspiring journalists shot as a colour strip of portraits — running to a Lollapalooza follow-up.

Smithsonian — DM.Experiential
The launch video for Our Shared Future: Reckoning With Our Racial Past, used in a national awareness campaign, and digital assets built with the content team for social platforms.

Allure — Condé Nast
Ten pages in one issue, in two registers.

Bon Appétit — Condé Nast
Four units for three advertisers, dated November and December 2013.

Vogue — Condé Nast
Two spreads.

Out & The Advocate — LPI Media
A four-page section built on one question. "Pop culture provocateurs lay it all out on the line. What is fabulous?" set in a high-contrast Didone across two lines, the question mark run to full page height.
Band-Aid — Universal McCann / J3
One message across four IAB sizes: 160×600, 300×250, 300×600 and 728×90.

JetBlue — Tail-Fin Pattern Exploration
Twelve boards. A library board holds twelve colourways around the JetBlue wordmark knocked out white at the centre.

Marks & Logotypes
Eleven marks. The ʻAipono Restaurant Awards seal for Maui Nō Ka ʻOi — a fan of rays opening from a numeral pair, drawn to hold at seal size and at title-page scale.
